Kamayan Krafts

Craft your favorite meal with paper at our Kamayan table on Tuesday, October 20th from 6-8pm at the RCC Red Room, as we share conversation exploring identity and culture!
Kamayan is a Filipino tradition where you share a meal with others at a long table, using your hands. We’ll mirror the Kamayan tradition to share supplies as we craft and talk. Art supplies and food will be provided.
Hosted by the Asian American/Pacific Islander Resource Center (AA/PIRC) at UCSC, this event is FREE and open to all UCSC affiliates (students, staff, and faculty). AA/PIRC is one of the six ethnic, gender, and sexuality resource centers at UCSC, offering events and other opportunities to connect with the AA/PI/SWANA diaspora.
For questions or accommodation requests, please email aapirc@ucsc.edu.
