The UCSC American Indian Resource Center is celebrating and honoring former Amah Mutsun Tribal Band Chairman Valentin Lopez and all of the work he has done to bring Native communities together throughout California. This event formally recognizes the contributions Val has made in his life to UCSC and the broader community.
